Our mission is to make the world a better place by helping people see better.
Our practice has been around since the 1920s, and our current owners Annette and David came to the helm in 1982.
Since then they have made some significant changes in practice – not least the relocation to our current premises – and have enjoyed watching the business go from strength to strength.
Today, we are proud of the reputation that the practice continues to hold in the local area. Annette and David have surrounded themselves with a team of like-minded, friendly and conscientious individuals who all share the ultimate aim of providing the best visual outcome for every patient.

In addition to providing great eye care for the residents of Barry and the surrounding areas, we also make sure that we keep up with progressions in the optical field, including new clinical treatments, new equipment and the latest lens developments.
This knowledge, combined with our accreditation with the Wales Eye Care Service, means we can offer a range of services including both NHS and private appointments, low vision assessments, emergency eye care and bespoke contact lens fittings.
